A resilient Trinity rearguard action was enough to see off a spirited second half Corby Town fight back after a quick fire double on the stroke of half time separated the sides at the break. A Greg Mills penalty reduced the areas on 67 minutes, after Simon Russell had opened the scoring two minutes before the break. Liam Davis adding the second in added time at the end of the half - but the home side were unable to find the equaliser, as Trinity returned to Lincolnshire with the three points in the bag.

Gainsborough's four game winning streak at the Martin and Co Arena came to an end thanks to high flying Fylde. A goal in each half was enough to seal victory for the coasters, who moved within four points of top spot. Trinity made one change to the team that came unstuck at North Ferriby last time out, with loanee Kane Richards making his first start for the club since his move from Chester.

Defender Zak Mills met a free kick at the far post to give the Pilgrims their first goal and victory over Trinity in three meetings this season. The Blues will feel hard done by, as they had to deal with an aerial assault from United on a pitch that was not the greatest.

An end to end game at the Martin & Co Arena, littered with chances for both teams, ended with Gainsborough Trinity and AFC Telford United sharing the spoils in front of 404 supporters on the Northolme. With Trinity boss, Steve Housham making three enforced changes to the team that lost to AFC Fylde last weekend, Craig Reid and Courtney Wildin made their debuts, replacing the suspended duo of Nathan Jarman and Stephen Brogan respectively. Marc Newsham was also recalled to the starting line up as Trinity adjusted to life without Anthony Wilson, the former Ferriby man who chose to hang up his boots last week.

Gainsborough came away from their trip to the Humber with two red cards and four goals against. Nathan Jarman and Stephen Brogan were both sent off in the second half within the space of a minute as Ferriby bagged two goals in each half. The Blues had to play the remaining 25 minutes with nine men and only conceded once in that period.
