Gainsborough Trinity look to make the most of the home advantage tomorrow, with Leamington returning to the Martin & Co Arena looking to make it through to the 4th round of qualifying for this year’s FA Cup, and join a host of National League sides for the draw, which is scheduled to take place today on Talksport.

Saturday saw two evenly matched teams put in workmanlike performances, with Henrich Ravas being forced into action on a couple of occasions. Despite the replay, Trinity managed to keep a valuable clean sheet on the road which was down to some diligent defending across the starting XI.

Dave Frecklington and assistant Terry Fleming will certainly have some tough decisions to make, after several players put in sterling performances against The Brakes. Matty Taylor came in for Trinity at the weekend and put in a solid display, the youngster from Derby certainly made an impressive start to life at Gainsborough. And with Thomas Davie returning to the fold, Frecklington certainly has more options than on Saturday.

Jonathan Wafula is in line to play for Trinity tomorrow, prior to the commencement of a three game ban; the pacey forward was given a straight red for a controversial tackle on the Leamington player. Although it seems he won the ball, the referee saw it differently and gave Wafula his marching orders late in the second half. Despite this, it gives Frecks the chance to give some playing time to other players in the Trinity squad.
