Leamington Match Preview

Gainsborough Trinity will look to get back to winning ways this weekend, a trip to Leamington is in store for The Holy Blues and it’s another great chance to progress in this years FA Cup. Trinity will remember Leamington well from the opening game of the season. Paul Holleran’s side visited the Martin & Co Arena back in August, and were able to pull off a shock result. In front of just over six-hundred fans, Ahmed Obeng stunned the home side with two goals to secure their first win of the season.

Since, The Brakes have had a similar start to the season, but after beating an impressive Bradford Park Avenue at home they have managed to climb up the table slightly. Leamington managed to over come Midland Premier Division side Westfields FC in the second round of qualifying, comfortably beating them in the end 2-0.
