Brandon Fleming from Hull Tigers

Brandon Fleming from Hull Tigers

Brandon Fleming has today joined Gainsborough Trinity on an initial months loan. Joining from Championship side Hull City, where he has made one solitary first team appearance. Fleming appeared in the Tigers' EFL cup defeat to Doncaster Rovers back in the Autumn. An attacking left back, with an eye for goal, Brandon is fresh into his second year as a professional having originally signed pro-forms in January 2017.

With Trinity boss Lee Sinnott keen to add quality to his threadbare squad, the manager pointed to the youngsters obvious pedigree: "Brandon has been with Hull since the age of nine and has been schooled in the right way and with the academy there having been promoted to a stage two academy, they are competing to a very high standard in national terms, to be able to attract this type of talent to the club."

With aspirations to play for his home town club, Hull City - the loan move to Trinity would appear to be a mutually beneficial deal, "I'm delighted to sign for the inital month and am looking forward to getting started and gaining some experience in men's football and hopefully try and help the team out and develop my football at the same time!"

Welcome to the club Brandon! #TrinityFamily
