Roma Signs a Blade

Gainsborough Trinity boss, Dominic Roma, has moved into the loan market recruiting Jake Eastwood, a promising twenty year old goalkeeper from League One side, Sheffield United. The ‘keeper comes from the same stable as recent signing, Welsh u19, Ioan Evans and former loan signing CJ Hamilton. He signs on an initial two month loan deal, where he will compete with Jonathan Hedge for the number one spot. “It’s an initial two months to see how he settles at the club, and then we’ll take it from there.” commented Roma.

BBC Local Radio and The National League

Signing Number Nine Arrives Via Sweden

The BBC Local Radio stations across England and Wales have signed an agreement with the National League to provide coverage of the leagues’ matches until 2020. The National League has 68 member clubs in three divisions, known as the National League, National League North and the National League South.

Welcoming today’s announcement Jason Horton, BBC Head of Sport for England said, “Today’s deal with the National League demonstrates the BBC local radio stations commitment to bring sports fans across England and Wales all the sporting action from their area. So whether you’re tuning in to BBC Radio Lincolnshire’s coverage of Lincoln City, listening to BBC Radio Solent reporting on Eastleigh or following one of the other 66 clubs across The National League we’ll be bringing you the latest action.”

Gainsborough Trinity Football Club are delighted to announce the headline sponsorship of our Annual Golf Day 2016, held at Thonock Golf Club, Gainsborough. Over the weekend, The Darron Childs Practice, a Senior Partner Practice for St James’ Wealth Management Services have agreed to come on board and sponsor the event and begin what is hoped to become a very fruitful partnership for both parties.

Club Chairman Richard Kane, was obviously delighted with the deal, stating: "It is always fantastic for the football club to link up with new companies for the first time – as it gives us both an opportunity to sound each other out and see what we can do for each other and the town of Gainsborough as a whole.
